Science ShowcaseCentral Alberta Science Network Festival of Science: May 23, 2009!
Science Fun for the Whole Family - FREE admission, at Central Middle School, 5121 48 Avenue, Red Deer (1/2 block north of Gaetz United Church) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, see the brochure for more details.

This one day free event promotes science in the Red Deer and surrounding area. The Festival of Science has been an annual event since 1998, and includes a Science Showcase where local businesses show how they use science at work every day, as well as speakers and demonstrators showing children how much fun science can be. This year’s festival features Brian Keating, Calgary Zoo, Lucio Gelmini, GMCC Chemist and Science Showcases of local industries, organizations that promote science, individuals, visiting groups, businesses and
science clubs highlight and celebrate science and technology in a trade type booth.
